There are times in our lives when we piddle to develop important decisions such as changing jobs, locomote to a new state, buying a new house or going to school. For me this decision came a little over a year agone when I decided to go back to school and further my education. The first step of my decision making process was to identify the problem. I have been working at the same job for six years with no chance of advancement. I just had my first child and when my leave was up, I didnt want to go back to the same job that I hated.Next, I had to look at all of my options. Yes, I could have gone out and got another job, precisely really how far can you go with just a high school diploma. I wanted to be able to go out and make a difference and do something that I love doing.Last, with my husbands support I made the choice to go back to school. And I have to say it has been the best decision I have ever made. I will be done with my associates degree in direful then I am starting my bachelors degree. This will not only help me but my family too.Even though my situation is pretty different from the one in the text, we both made the decision to better ourselves. She had to cut cost and repay the companys debt. This made Xerox live on and is now a thriving business.
